My goal with my project “Ruins” was to push my digital illustration skills. One of the first things I learned while learning art principles in middle school was one point prospective. I drew enough of them throughout middle school and high school to get very comfortable with it. I wanted to draw something big and grand, so I chose the one-point perspective because of its familiarity, and chose a ruined city, primarily because I was obsessed with post-apocalyptic video games and themes.
